Curiosity Mars atmos is 100x less dense than Earth. Sounds are much fainter than Earth. High pitch would be almost inaudible. The faint sounds recorded by Perseverance (Curiosity doesn't have a mic) are Highly Amplified and just the wind blowing on the microphone. science.nasa.gov/mission/mars-2…
