It seems University of Oxford will now vote on whether to U-turn the success achieved by Mike Cassidy and Ben Fernando re: the abolition of the graduate fees. Is there already a counter-proposal? It seems odd to request this at the 11th hour, right before enacting the policy.
Paula Koelemeijer Ben Fernando As someone who is not an academic in the University but tries to pay attention; my concern is that the original motion was put in good faith and attempted to give sufficient time to allow mitigation; that good faith feels rather used here with such an 11th hour intervention
Turns out University of Oxford will be voting next week on rolling back the abolition of the graduate application fee. Very disappointed - but we will fight it! Reminded of this awesome group of individuals from the 2020 vote.

We need 50 signatures from members of congregation to secure a postal vote. Given how close the in person vote was and the large number of academics tied up in exam processes we will press for this.
