Recently co-authored an article discussing some mentally draining challenges faced by Black women in STEM - and ways Black women can thrive in spaces they feel underrepresented 🥳 uodwomeninstem.wixsite.com/uodwomeninstem… ~ the reflections by the women involved are very close to home & uplifting!

Whilst attention is focused on Allegra Stratton’s tearful resignation, only minutes ago, the Tories have forced through Nationality & Borders Bill that will cause immense human suffering to some of the most vulnerable people in society. Shameful. Our country is better than this.

This was such an impactful event hearing from Black female leaders about how they thrive! It’s just what I needed for a mid-week refresh. I was reminded: 1) of the importance of community and 2) to be bold enough to try, even if you make mistakes! 👏🏾
