Caught in Southie Maureen, the South Boston residents (like myself) were shouted down by an angry man who continuously interrupted the presenter who was just there doing her job. It was an overwhelmingly pro-blue bike audience aside from one very angry man.

Excited to see Bluebikes expand in Southie! While some worry about parking, most proposed stations prioritize sidewalks, grassy areas, or parks—not street parking. More bikes mean fewer cars, easier transit, and a stronger, more connected community. 🚲🚲🚲

Due to its proximity to Medal of Honor park, Ed Flynn 愛德華費連 is opposed to this off-street location (blue) Note: There are ~114 parking spots (red) and 1 bus stop (yellow) already on the perimeter of the park

Here are existing locations (gray), and proposed on-street (red) and off-street (green) locations Again, only 7-14 will be selected. Compromising on 1 or 2 on street locations could provide 30+ bikes and 100s of rides daily (replacing only 2-4 parking spots)

Southie has comparably poor BlueBike station density. We deserve the same level of city services as other neighborhoods! My parent's home is 10 min walk from closest station (marine park), but I'd usually walk 15 minutes to the Library since I'm usually going that direction

Josh Kraft has been shifting his position on cycle lanes depending on who he’s talking to. He told his Dorchester audience he wants to freeze new lane construction. He told Jon Keller that he liked cycle lanes. He then cited cycle lane costs among top budget items to cut.

Councilor Ed Flynn 愛德華費連, your proposal to license & insure all micro-mobility users is a BAD move. Don’t punish cyclists for car problems. Licensing bikes is unnecessary—focus on real road dangers, not barriers to biking. #BikeBoston #VisionZero

Councilor Flynn is not only asking for removal of bus lane paint from the Summer St pilot, he's asking for elimination of green signal lights that allow cyclists to protect themselves by getting a headstart b4 activation of the signal for cars/trucks. 😡 universalhub.com/2025/south-bos…

Cypher St—What was once a trash-strewn wasteland of jersey barriers and no sidewalks is now a safe, green corridor with separated bike lanes, smooth pavement, lighting, and park space. From pedestrian no-go to a people-first street! 🌳🚲
