Our team at the PowerfulSouthFamily project for School District of Lee County has created a unique partnership with the welding program. The welding teacher graciously had his students help us fix a ladder. Chris-Tel and David Crowther donated a variety of welding supplies as a way to say "Thank You".

South Fort Myers High is hosting a powerful event for young leaders on Tuesday, January 28th. We are inviting students from 16 high schools and students from Florida Gulf Coast University to learn about leadership and entrepreneurship from eight local leaders in SWFL.

The South Fort Myers High Entrepreneur Academy had a great time working with the Minnesota Twins today; they learned about the players' academy and helped out in the concession stand during the New York Yankees game.

My final day as principal of South Fort Myers High was March 4th. I am honored to have served the Wolfpack for 9 years. During that time, I have shared many great experiences with the students, teachers, staff, and community. Thank you to everyone who has supported SFMHS!

I am proud to share with everyone that I have been named Associate Superintendent for Career and Technical Education (CTE), School Choice, and Administration for the School District of Lee County. Mr. Angel Gomez has been appointed interim principal at South Fort Myers High.

We wish Mr.Mathews the best of luck in his new role with School District of Lee County. Thank you for all you’ve done for this school. We will miss you
