On Oct. 14, 2025, a bridge repair project is scheduled to begin in the westbound lanes of Interstate 90 at exit 63 (Box Elder). The project is being conducted to repair an over height vehicle hit to the bridge. Traffic will be reduced to one lane on westbound I-90 near exit 63.

Beginning on Monday, Oct. 20, 2025, U.S. Highway 385 from the south end of Pactola Dam to Taylor Ranch Road will be closed to through traffic. The roadway will reopen on Friday, March 6, 2026. Find additional project information at US-385.com. #SDDOT #SD511

On Oct. 14, 2025, a permanent vehicle classification system will be installed on U.S. Highway 12 approximately six and one-half miles east of McIntosh. The project will require one lane of Highway 12 to be closed at a time. The completion date for the project is Oct. 17, 2025.

On Oct. 13, 2025, permanent striping work is scheduled to begin on S.D. Highway 37 in Huron. Work will take place between Market Street and U.S. Highway 14. Weather dependent, the anticipated completion date for the striping work is Oct. 14, 2025. dot.sd.gov/huron37
