We have had a lot of issues this summer with yard waste being put in the Recycling. Sticks, grass, and leaves are COMPOST. If you live in the City of South Bend call 233-0311 South Bend 311 & get a yard waste bin. If you live in the county call Organic Resources at 287-6841.

The 311 Service Center will be unavailable to take calls from 12pm-1pm for training. We will accept messages at that time and will return calls this afternoon.

With snow and cold temperatures predicted for this weekend, the City would like to remind residents of these winter weather tips.

Remember - NEVER touch a downed power line. Always report any hazards to us and/or 911. Report downed wires on our app, website, or by calling us at 800-311-4634.
