Big π to our 20 volunteers who filled 22 bags of litter today π Nearly all litter was from the half marathon today - plastic bottles and gel sachets. We chatted to our friends at Plastic Tactics and wondered if water and energy packs could be better used at events in the future π€

World in Bootle International Festival celebrating the diversity of Bootle was held at the new Salt and Tar event space with artists from all corners of our world who now live in Bootle performing. It was a fantastic day and thank you to Jen and Jess for their support π₯°π₯°
Thanks to our volunteers who tidied up the entrance to the Festival Gardens this morning - Steve, Jordan, Penny, Sue and Ian. Also to Eric C. who helped in the onerous task of clearing brambles from the top of the cascade! Liverpool City Council Liverpool Streetscene Services Ltd Lula did a litter pick for us.
