Silken waves in their ebb & flow churn into tsunamis
Majestic peaks in their green drapes turn ice into slides
Gentle breeze in their dancing galore change into squall
Beaut earth in their nurture split open into throes of molten fire
~ and I ~
I simply let 'em etch into my soul

this one’s for you
in all your clumsy glory
awaken your inner child
and shrug into a new story

something happens when you’re near
i can feel the love buzz between us
electric and sublime, eternal and divine
we fall into place as the hazy fog clears

what is it about night
that carries my voice’s cry
in the sunlight, i fall short
but in the moon’s glow
i can hear my echo

The morning sun reflecting
over the glassy sea
It’s the sight that draws me near
Surrounded the soft, fresh air
These are the moments
where I drop my cares
A time for healing those

forward, away from the dark
