After 11 years, I went to a school, not as a student but as a judge, in a different country and a different school. Like everyone used to visit their teachers after leaving school, but I didn't. But now, I’m grateful for every opportunity I've come across.🧿

Quick tip to freelancers/new agencies: Don't get your firm registered as Pvt Ltd company if you don't need it. It is crazy paperwork and stress. Don't do it for flex or to crack better clients. Your work should speak and not these titles.

A potential client was giving his intro saying “I’m this, I’m that, Mahima budget is not a problem I just need good work.”. After receiving the proposal he comes back asking, “Mahima can you do my LinkedIn for ₹15000/month for just 1 year, then I will increase your fee.”

Life update: After insane struggle, hard work, financial & emotional investment, 20 days in another country, and countless sleepless nights wondering “how will I do it alone?”, I have finally got my Emirates ID & now I am a UAE Resident. 🇦🇪🧿

I did some +10 in-person meetings in Dubai. My quick observations: - People are punctual - They prefer 1:1 conversations - They make decisions quickly - They value results over saving money (ahem) In short, Dubai runs on trust, time, & action. Not decks, delays, & discounts.

Those who communicate their anger by keeping quiet and becoming distant are the hardest to handle.

My dad thought I was crazy when I told him that I wanted to build a startup (alongside managing our well-established family business). Today, an uncle came to our office and appreciated what we are doing at STRCH. My dad didn't say much; his smile said it all. :)
