Sport....TV.....You can't quite put a name to the face.....that guy. I love family, friends, football and fine wine. Any wine actually. My views, not ITV's.

“You shouldn’t have to create a whole fellowship to help one lad do a simple job. If he needs that much support then he’s clearly not cut out for this level. This is the future of middle earth we’re talking about here. You’ve got to get your tactics right, it’s embarrassing.”

Dan Ballard's goal was an amazing, redemptive moment for #SAFC Did their performance deserve the moment? No. Does that matter? Yes, but mostly no. Can they win the final playing like tonight? No. Can they win the final by playing better and playing different? Yes. #TilTheEnd

Does the premier league and English football realise what a huge, generational, laugh out loud opportunity has been missed this season by other teams not being good enough to relegate Man United and Spurs? Poor show….

Niche: but, from over the water, glad Mitch is on #nba 1st team. Glad Brunson's on 2nd team and actually love ALL the 3rd team selections. NBA

Sheffield Inited lead after #SAFC fail to chase down a cleared corner. Hamer does brilliantly to set up Campbell for a dinked finish. It has been coming.

He’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but O’Nien is so, so important to the way #SAFC build up play (and he’s important for his leadership) and they’re really missing him right now.

The most important thing is for #SAFC to enjoy this. Savour a truly memorable moment. What’s next will, of course, be incredibly hard, but that’s a problem for another day. So go mad. Live it up. It’s a remarkable success story.

Just because the division has changed, doesn’t mean the model has. IF this is it, then this is, essentially, what’s supposed to happen. Part of the model always has to be an understanding #SAFC won’t stand in a young player’s way if there’s a deal that suits all parties.

Simon O'Rourke (@sorourkeitv) 's Twitter Profile Photo

My question is not why? It’s why not 3 weeks ago? Rip the plaster off after the season if you felt change was needed. Apart from that, the Carrick “era” saw some good football, some bad luck and an inability to solve problems that sometimes were his fault and sometimes weren’t.

This is the way #SAFC - huge profit (Brum cut notwithstanding) - dealt with quickly, so not hanging over the summer - nothing underhand, no games played - Jobe never suggested he’d be the next Kevin Ball but never gave less than 100% - this is the model - onto the next one

Just watched THE BENCH, a play written by my extremely talented mate Jeff Brown 2nd time I’ve seen it and it’s aging like a fine wine. I can’t recommend it enough. It’s about football, family and much, much more besides. Catch it while you can. carolewproductions.com/the-bench

🎫 Never mind Sam Fender, the hottest ticket in town last night was for Jeff Brown play The Bench Live Theatre. Very enjoyable. ⏳ A few still available for this weekend… live.org.uk/whats-on

#NUFC the reality of owning an elite striker is mass speculation that other teams are coming to sign that player. But with Liverpool, surely the sums simply don't add up. They've done Frimpong, and assuming Wirtz and Kerkez get done, how are they paying?
