Hazel and Chestnut celebrated everything maths. Including Timestable Rockstars, Numbots and Numberblocks.
We have had a fantastic day enjoying maths games and mini competitions.

KS2 had a fantastic trip all the way to Woking to see the Wizard of Oz live on stage in preparation for our summer spectacular. Experiences like this are so important for our children and is an example of the enrichment experiences that Ofsted speak so highly of in our inspection

Here at Old Sodbury School we try and get outside as much as we can. Chestnut class are having a Maths lesson whilst enjoying the glorious sunshine today.

Hazel class had a treat today as they learnt about how one of their daddies fixes fire engines as part of their topic 'on the move'

🟢 We had some great entries in the 'Make SID smile' poster competition. Children have learnt about the Speed Indicator Device (SID) that smiles green when vehicles are travelling under the speed limit. Thank you to SGC road safety team for the goodie bag prizes 🟢

Signs of spring are popping up all over the village. Today children participated in the big garden birdwatch today. What a wonderful location to have a school right on the Cotswold way.

Choir club has an amazing time in the Birmingham Resorts World Arena performing with 5000 other children in the world's largest children's choir concert. Young Voices what an experience!

This Term in Hazel class we had so much fun exploring our ‘I am special, I am me’ topic.

We have been creating representations of our families and shared our favourite teddies at school.

We have also been exploring colour using our senses. What wonderful busy Term! 😊

This term Sycamore class went on a wonderful field trip WWT Slimbridge for our Mission ‘Where does our water come from?’ We experienced the water cycle investigating water as it moves through wetland habitats; slowing down and getting cleaner. We even had time to feed the birds!

Chestnut class had an amazing trip today to Bristol Zoo Project. We learnt so much about the different animal groups and how to identify them for our mission this term Bristol Zoo Project 🦒🐆🐻
