Our 2 #fen and 2 #bog sites in Marcell Exp Forest are gorgeous! What a blast sampling for #microbes and #greenhousegas fluxes with Wetland Science Lab. #MUCCingAbout

I have now seen the beginning and end of the Mississippi River - and sampled for #microbes near both ends! #MUCCingAbout with The Wrighton Lab has been amazing. My first cores, bogs, and fens! 🦟🦠

We love the sled our Wetland Science Lab colleagues use when #wetlands have standing water - we are #MUCCingAbout in Dwarf Cypress Swamp studying #methane cycling #microbes DOE Office of Science CSU College of Agricultural Sciences

Lots of work in flux upscaling right now, including this cool work from Gavin McNicol now published in issue in AGU Advances : Upscaling wetland methane emissions from the FLUXNET-CH4 eddy covariance network (UpCH4 v1.0). AGU Advances, doi.org/10.1029/2023AV… AmeriFlux

Where do you sleep on a research cruise? Why is the Mississippi called Big Muddy? If you want to learn all about that coastal research life, or just all about coastal research, check out glaspielab , the page for DOCS faculty Cassie Glaspie’s Marine Community Ecology Lab.

Are at AGU (American Geophysical Union) and love the soil microbiome? Wildfire? The soil microbiome AND wildfire?!?! Come to my poster this afternoon (#2374) to see my bold attempt to fit all 3 of my PhD chapters onto one poster 😅

Looking at your schedule for something to round out your #AGU23? Come by my talk B51A-05 to hear about ongoing The Wrighton Lab work in freshwater wetlands! #microbes #methane
