Let me quickly explain why the Christchurch mosque shooting affects many of us, not just Muslim communities. If the shooter's manifesto and social media feed are accurate, he was inspired by a right wing ideological infrastructure that thrives, recruits and radicalizes online 1/

This evil ideology has attacked mosques, synagogues, Sikh temples, black churches and more in the past few years. So many people killed while gathering to peacefully pray.

Being quiet and gentle doesn’t mean you’re weak. Such people show deep, inner strength that’s under control. It’s knowing when to speak and when to listen; when to take action and when to wait. Don’t underestimate such people. They walk the earth with the greatest strength!

In a world that’s trying to make you hate, judge & not care about others, learn to be considerate & compassionate. Be the bigger person. Be tolerant. Be the one who will go out of your way to help someone. Be the one showing kindness not just in bad times but all the time!
