4 Days after 250k lose power in Nashville & Nashville Electric Service says it is still scaling up its workforce to meet outage demand?!? while simultaneously turning away crews!?! FAIL. 2 things can be true: this was a wicked storm & appears authorities caught ill-prepared on so many levels.
Dear Nashville Electric Service now begins our 7th day without power in Nashville on Blair Blvd, & you still haven't communicated when we can expect service to be restored. You asked us for patience. We delivered. We are asking you for CLEAR communication. You are failing.
The sun sets on Day 8 w/ no power in Nashville & Nashville Electric Service says only 5 more days to go until we get electricity on Blair Blvd. Failure. Supreme Failure. Unacceptable. Malfeasance.
24 hrs after releasing a timeline for restoration via zipcode, Nashville Electric Service is now moving the goal posts & pushing the dates. Seriously, WTF !? 16 days to restore power to 37212?! This is utter malfeasance. People's livelihoods are on the lines here. CLOWN SHOW.
Today is DAY 10 for me & my family w/o electricity in Nashville. It is now CLEAR Nashville Electric Service was incapable of preparing for the storm & scaling up a competent response in its aftermath. Investigations will prove that this was a colossal FAIL. We will hold you all accountable.
We've finally had power restored in Nashville after 11 days. How, you ask? Well, a frustrated neighbor finally saw an Nashville Electric Service truck in the hood & literally BEGGED them to restore power to our stretch of homes, & lineworkers rewrote their work order & DID. Grateful, also WTF!?
