The Media Association of Solomon Islands (MASI), in partnership with the BBC Media Action, held a breakfast event today at Heritage Park Hotel to commemorate the World Press Freedom Day 2024. Thanks to all our distinguished guests for availing your time to commemorate this event.

MASI Mojo training begins with its first session today at the King Solomon Hotel. The Session begins with an opening remarks from the MASI President Georgina Kekea followed by Emma Watson from the British High Commission. MASI acknowledged BBC Media Action for their great support.


MASI 2 days Training with IOM - UN Migration 🇺🇳 starts today at Heritage Park Hotel. This training is to help the media understand and communicate about trafficking in person, especially to support safe and decent working conditions on fishing vessels in the Pacific. Many thanks to IOM.


We thank Dipak Bhattarai of BBC Media Action for his support and services to MASI. Dipak now move to Fiji for the regional office of BBC MA as project in Sols now ends.
