I want find out from AI research community about how much of what was promise in 2019 leaders in AI industry has been promised in human productivity levels has been delivered , I wish to find data on that and how Africa has affected by it so far.

Is the whole drive of AI to encourage complacency in humanity? Where we get results from expectation without effort. Is this the real goal of AI. Like vibe coding without actually coding? Just trying to know what AI can genuinely be used for ?

To be frank, I don't get all the excitement and hype around AI especially from the solopreneurs creating new apps. I ask because I don't think AI is been used to build anything exciting in Africa.

The paper is saying that we are yet to scientific define what is true and real intelligence. Any discussion ans direction on it, will be much appreciated
