Good morning from my favorite new build!

Good evening! This house’s master bedroom has sunlight both in the morning and in the evening!

I am all for innovation. Innovation for durability.

The longer I am in this game of architecture (&Life), the more long term thinking I want to apply.

Awesome project with a nice mix of traditional details in an overall quite futuristic Art Deco energy. And it just emanates a good feel of durability through its materials.

It’s incredible that I’m doing what I wanted to do at 4 and I still like it with all the adult stuff involved.

You can only build the healthy home you need when you stop looking for the perfect one.

The smaller the home the happier the family.

Here are the floorplans for the house: Total of 120 useable sqm / 1290 sq ft with 2 beds, a small office and 1.5 baths, and a very large double height kitchen/dining/living space. This house will be for a 50ish couple who will only be visited occasionally by their children.

The successful building project over the long term means building the most durable one you can right now. I think durability is more important than size/equity/possible future price appreciation because it implicitly contains all of these. We simply just forgot to calculate

I want to showcase the owners' feelings after they moved in the house we've built, not the house itself.

Quality ennobles the soul. Quality is hard to obtain by definition. Quality’s main enemy is entropy and negligence. Quality will yield dividends on a 20+ year timeline.

If this continues for long we will just go back to using physical books as reference I guess.

Hey US frens, this may be an odd question but for architectural plans do you prefer fractional or decimal measurements? Like 2' 6" or 2,5'?
