Every time there is a mass shooting, I think about the parents of those Uvalde children and how these tragedies continue long after the cameras move on. This country owes those parents so much and has done so little.
I almost can't believe this news. It's an unbelievably self-less act of humanity. Only a man who truly loves his country would sacrifice their life to see it follow a virtuous path.
Please offer a moment of silence to this American hero and a dear friend of Palestine.

They communicated their route to the IDF, and in return they got a guided munition literally straight through the logo identifying them as humanitarian aid. I don’t think there’s any way of spinning this other than a deliberate targeting of people preventing starvation.
There’s this weird slippage people do where by “peaceful” they mean “lawful” but then they want to use MLK as an example and seem to forget where “letter from Birmingham Jail” was written from
“As I remember it, the Civil Rights Movement had no arrests, the Vietnam protests were peaceful, and no bricks were thrown at Stonewall.” That’s how a lot of you sound this week.
