Friends, Mishka has chronic kidney disease with renal failure. She is stable for now with medicines and new food. She is obviously life limited but she is a very brave kitty. We are hopeful that we will have enough time to give her all the comfort, care and love she deserves.

The commander that killed Hind Rajab on 29 Jan 2024 has now been identified. Rajab's car was hit by Israeli tank fire. Six members of her family died instantly. Hind, wounded, remained alive for hours. "I'm so scared.. please come" were her last words in a phone call to the PRCS.

Dear friends these may be Mishka's last days, weeks, and if we are incredibly lucky then perhaps months. We have put her on palliative care to just relieve her pain and discomfort, in hope that she can enjoy the rest of time with grace and dignity. We are devastated. 💔

Dear friends of Mishka. She passed away at home this morning surrounded by her loved ones. I am too numb to even react right now. Please pray that she finds only the best things and friends across the rainbow bridge.

Thank you friends for all the love and wishes. Going through my day without this little one by my side is very difficult. She was so deeply connected to my day to day life that I feel very empty. I don't know how to have a routine without her. 💔

We are planning a commemoration for Mishka. We request everyone who knew her and loved her to participate in this. We will share a list of all her favourite foods including human foods she wasn't allowed. So that people and furry friends can eat something in her celebration.

When Freyja fell critically ill and was unable to groom herself, Mishka took on the daily grooming responsibilities. She did this until Freyja's last day. It breaks my heart that she didn't have this in her last days. We tried but it wasn't enough.
