It’s one thing to “take one for the team” if you disagree w the nominee on, say, tax policy or something. But if your guy tries to stay in power through force despite losing an election, that’s when you remember your actual team is America. That’s who you should take one for.

True. But, also, if you told me years ago that Donald Trump would become President, refuse to leave office after losing an election, and unleash a violent mob on the capitol…and these were basically the only Republicans refusing to support him, I’d be shocked by that too.
