Despite record levels of employment, poverty is not falling, while energy poverty, housing costs and financial distress increase

With changing political winds & shrinking space for #SocialEurope we need this commitment to the EPSR, Porto Targets & the revision of the Action Plan

However as civil society we have concerns about the direction we’re heading👇

As Social Platform member we support platform's move to sign #LaHulpeDeclaration . Yet ATD Fourth World members are among the poorest EU citizens & they call 4 a #SocialEurope with really strong commitments towards #SocialRights . We still have concerns on the Europe we’re heading to.

The declaration consolidates the Pillar as the compass towards a #SocialEurope and outlines concrete areas where further action should be taken in the next EU-legislature, including

✅ #genderequality
✅ #antidiscrimination
✅ the impact of #AI and #telework at the workplace
