Irish dancer Mufutau Yusuf’s Impasse at Dance Base Scotland The white wall is still but untouchable. The black dancers work to flourish continuously and facelessly, sometimes against each other but mostly together. The movements guide you to empathy. They reclaim the wall and rhythm.

Flock & Moving Cloud at ZOO, two pieces of female choreographers performed by Scottish Dance Theatre. Pumping celtic tune by the Weegie band TRIP Flock explored dancers’ balance & collaboration while looking one-sided! Moving Cloud was just electrical! Could watch for hours! 🤩❤️

YOAH by Cirquework cirquework.jp/yoah had refreshing aesthetic. With many ghost lights, moonlit blue glow, y2k chic video art and Japanese electro rock music! The contortion and silk were my favourites (as usual). The lights are a bit harsh. Bring sunglasses 😎

#edfringe2024 Mosinee Project by Counterfactual reimagined the (slightly anti-climatic) real story from 1950s and made it interesting, provoking and experimental. I appreciated the big and little intentional choices they made for the play! Sadly tickets are all sold out
