I am super happy to share the first work of the lab on #gastruloids. All started with Marietta Hartl that was extremely brave to start a new project on early development. bit.ly/3ocuTqj With @SimonSuppinger they showed mechanisms of gastruloid development

Is #cancer drug resistance heritable or plastic? Genetic or non-genetic? How do we tell those apart? We just begun measuring the temporal dynamics of evolving cancers using controllable patient-derived #organoids. We need more experiments+theory! biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Our lastest study "Targeted Perturbation of Signaling-Driven Condensates" is now live on Molecular Cell. We've used small peptides to specificaly disrupt β-catenin condensates, resulting in decreased transcription and inhibition of cancer cell proliferation. 🔬💡 📖 Read more:

How does DNA damage cause apoptosis when p53 is mutated? Critical to understand treatment of many tumors. Excited that ‘DNA damage induces p53-independent apoptosis through ribosome stalling’ by Nicolaas Boon and collaborators is out: doi.org/10.1126/scienc…
