Year 7 & 8 Netball Camp Great work from these girls during their half term netball camp! They had a great day learning new skills and it was brilliant to see them put these into practice during match play. We hope they enjoyed!

a group of Year 9 students went to the University of Leeds to celebrate their graduation from the Scholars Programme! The students have been mentored by a university tutor and each wrote a academic assignment around the theme 'Collaborative Working'.

The geography department have teamed up with the Woodland Trust to deliver a house competition that develops local biodiversity. Students planted 40 trees in our dedicated school woodland, including Rowan and Silver Birch. With 36 students helping out, it was a great atmosphere!

Some of our students visited Huddersfield New college last week to compete against other schools from across Kirklees in the Rotary Technology Tournament. We are extremely proud of them they represented the school impeccably and threw themselves into every task set.

Recently the PME department ran a house competition to create a logo showcasing the fundamental British Values. There were fantastic entries from students in all year groups! The winning entry was from a student in 7B and her design has been made into a digital logo

our School Council has been working hard. The success of our student volunteers has been recognized by Council and we are now an official democracy school. Councilor Cahil Burke and Kirklees Youth Democracy co-ordinator Michelle Ross came into school to present the award.
