Love extreme weather. No better place for it than Southern New England. I have all your weather needs here.

I struggled with this one...tough storm...first of the season...brutal forecast. Here’s my first call. Will tweak as necessary.

My first call for Saturday afternoon and evening snow before the changeover to rain across most of SNE. Hopefully a conservative start.

Lots to watch regarding Isaias. For our area the two areas to watch regarding track potential is the trough to our west and the Bermuda ridge. Latest GFS shows the trough may be trying to tilt more neutral rather than positive. Very far away so we will keep an eye on trends

0z GFS from last night compared to the current 0z run. Slowly but surely falling in line with other models each consecutive run.

Sometimes it’s easier to take a step back and look at the simple things. The high has trended stronger each run on the RGEM. I’ll bet on a strong high over this weak of a storm system. GFS and Euro look good. Here’s the 18z RGEM now compared to 24 hours ago. Watch that high!

Here’s my snow map for Wednesday night into Thursday. Most areas see a nice storm. Tough call in SE areas with possible sleet mixing in. It will come down to the wire to see how much mixes. Enjoy!

Nearly every single mesoscale model with a shift south and east as expected. Strong high always under modeled especially with this weak of a surface low. Forecast still stands.
