The fact this trial was 87% female subjects is a huge step forward in cv research. Honored to have been a participating site!

Dr. Wilkoff was one of the greatest mentors. He let me lead industry studies. He pushed me to think about patient care and research with excellence. He knew when it was time for younger EPs to lead and he gave so much in the lab, classroom, and writing. I will greatly miss him.

As a second-year cardiology fellow, I have worked with a lot of different medical students and residents.

Here are some of the traits that I have seen among my favorite medical students and residents, and those I try to emulate!

Things I wish someone told me before cardiology fellowship:

1. You are here to learn
2. Blocking a consult takes more work than just doing the consult
3. Start with core concepts, build from there
4. Be open to feedback
5. Stretch before wearing lead
6. Befriend a sonographer
