Sweden's unwavering support through strategic partnership is fueling UNICEF's mission in 🇧🇩! Sida's SEK 150M contribution enables us to act swiftly & effectively. From primary healthcare to protecting children against violence, we're making a difference where it matters most.

Above 188K children in learning crisis are receiving catch-up support to achieve Foundational Literacy and Numeracy to move forward. About 60K out-of-school children now have a chance to return through Multi Grade Multi Level learning center and can catch up on essential skills.

8,000+ girls empowered! Futures transformed. With the support from the Korean Government through KOICA, UNICEF has been empowering out-of-school adolescent girls and young women from seven districts with job-ready skills and a pathway to self-reliance.

Since 2022, over 8,000 girls have secured employment by either job or entrepreneurship through market-driven skills training; job placement and financial access support. Thank you, KOICA, for investing in the power and potential of girls in Bangladesh.
