Was on a fire early in the week where a FF w/ rotary saw was forcing entry. Saw wide open, at full depth, on a rolling steel gate. The gate had 1/4" plate skins which prevented the FF from seeing through. The blade found a H cylinder of O2. It blew. Crazy!

FDNY members are continuing to operate at a 5-alarm fire at 2096 Grand Concourse in the Bronx.

Per FDNY Fire Marshals, the cause of today’s 5-alarm fire at 2096 Grand Concourse in the Bronx was a lithium-ion battery which powered a scooter.
