Clockmaker, scientist & Lunar Society member #JohnWhitehurst shaped both horology & history from his Derby workshop. He even hosted Benjamin Franklin. It was as an apprentice to the 3rd Whitehurst that John Smith honed his craft before establishing Smith of Derby in #1856.

For decades the Bruce Millers Clock has hung above the shop on Union Street, Aberdeen. Now as plans develop to breathe new life into the former music store we're thrilled to share that the clock and Millers figures are in our Works and in the process of being fully restored.⁠ ⁠
