Nice to see someone take the time to write such a detailed post to appreciate something good. Kudos RailMadad and all those who went beyond their duty to respond quickly

"Fired him for not celebrating the Hindu holiday Diwali" doesn't resonate even a little bit. Indians are more likely to succumb to the cultural pressure of adapting to US celebrations - Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween rather than impose native festivals on others.

When you forget that your boss is without wife too. And that you may have unleashed a whole host of savage replies. RIP crony career. 🙏

'staggering arrogance'? Do you even know the data this survey is asking for? The kind of privacy issues that could come up? The fact that their signed sheet refusing to participate showed up on social media is strong evidence of the weak information security.

"Only we know. And only we can tell you what is right. Anybody who says otherwise, shall be condemned as boors and ill-informed louts". In other words. p.s. "we shall also strangle and vilify non-confirming thoughts in the academics as an added bonus"

1984. Doordarshan somberly told us our PM had been shot by her security guards. Murmurs were - it was bad. People were asking - what is BBC saying? We trusted BBC - if they said it, it must be true. What a fall from there to agenda peddler! Or maybe, we know better now.

"If Hinduism is to shine again" It's like beginning a post with - "If only Sabeer stops beating his wife" Everything that follows makes no sense, if your opening salvo fails to pass the smell test.

What do we mean by 'tax payer money' here? LIC is funded through: 1. Premiums paid - this is an investment of sorts by people and they get maturity bonus etc 2. Investment returns - dividends etc from corporates 3. Public listing - selling shares to private investors

Really sorry to know what happened. Also disturbed to know about bad responses to your posts. Not sure who these people/bots are, but I can tell you the majority would not side with them. There has been widespread condemnation in Indian media and the culprit has been arrested.

Ok yaar. But Ravana was a Brahmin. His father was sage Vishrava and grandfather was sage Pulastya. Ravana himself was a Vedic scholar. How do you adjust that in your narrative of 'demonization of non-Vedic people by settlers?'
