Today is a wake up call. As student loans cost of living climb, it takes more and more passion (or family money) to choose ID. We are the best specialty, but asking people to choose passion over finances is a failing proposition. If we don't change reimbursement, we are done.

We had amazing discussions about HIV in New Delhi at #StopHIV2024, the inaugural conference with National Institute of TB & RD New Delhi NTEP and Henry Ford Hospital Infectious Diseases Fellowship. These two centers have had a joint collaboration since 2014 and continue to expand their work with HIV and TB.
