It was great chatting with the San Marcos CISD team that has worked with Texas State University to create our first ever dual credit enrollment program for their students to attend classes on our campus. Thank you, Dr. Michael Cardona! 🐍🐾

It’s a historic day for our first cohort of students attending Texas State University. Previously, this was reserved for a select few. 𝙺𝚎𝚕𝚕𝚢 𝙳𝚊𝚖𝚙𝚑𝚘𝚞𝚜𝚜𝚎 made this a reality and I am forever grateful. This group is a boundary breaker and we are excited for them. RattlerUpBobcats!!!

San Marcos CISD history was made on August 26. Superintendent Dr. Cardona and Texas State President Dr. Damphousse signed a dual credit partnership that allows 30 SMHS juniors & seniors will be able to attend Texas State University classes on the university campus at no cost! #RattlerUpBobcats
