Sunak's tax plan out today will also include assessing whether the apprenticeship levy introduced in 2017 to pay for skills training - is doing enough!

Before the #springstatement2022 did anyone else hear Boris talk about making changes for those working on UK shipping routes so that they are paid #NLW in response to questions on P&O?

From April 2023 the rate at which people pay the additional rate of income tax, charged at 45%, will change from £150k to those earning over £125,140. This is a measure to ensure those with the highest incomes contribute more to help strengthen public finances. #AutumnStatement

Nov 2020 OTS report said a reduction to £6,000 in CGT AEA would result in 235,000 more individuals needing to report a capital gain and could generate £480m in additional revenues in 1st year. (About 96,000 of the affected taxpayers would already routinely file SA tax returns.)
