Three Cheers for 150 Years: The theme for this year’s events! Jared says, “We always knew we wanted to celebrate our town’s 150th anniversary, but the tricky part was in choosing a theme without using the word ‘sesquicentennial’ which can be a little intimidating.”

Three cheers for our 2023 headlining band: The Pork Tornadoes! The band will play popular songs from five different decades, covering four different genres for all ages & musical preferences. They'll take the stage at the Sunset Park Band Shell from 7-9:30 p.m. on Mon., July 3.

The Storm Lake Fire Department has been named our 2023 Grand Marshals in honor of the town’s 150th anniversary! Founded in 1881, the SLFD protects 93 square miles. All past and present members of the Dept. have been invited to take part in the Big Parade at 10:30 a.m. on July 4.
