We've spent *years* researching 3D Platformer Cameras in hopes of making Slime 64's camera "not terrible." The White Cylinder is the Camera Target (slightly above the player!), and the Orange Cones represent the Vertical Deadzone, where the camera won't follow player movement.

Over the weekend we did some work ensuring the game works at aspect ratios ranging from 4:3 (the OG) all the way up to 32:9 (SUPER ultrawide). If you want to run the game with crunchy CRT visuals, but on a crazy wide monitor, who are we to stop you? 😅

We've been working crazy hard - ton of progress this year. I'm finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel and have a concrete vision of what the final game will be. If we can pull it off I truly believe it'll be a game people love and that we'll be very proud of.
