It’s morally injuring going along with a lie, remaining silent when those about you are endangering themselves and others. But it’s exhausting fighting against the lie, day after day after day and not getting anywhere. #SARS2isNotACold

If a group of billionaires paid a consultant handsomely to do anything and everything to increase their wealth, then that’s what the consultant would do. Unless constrained by law the public good would not merit a second thought. Well that’s the Government, in 2025 anyway.

It’s not just “bereaved families” that should be distraught by this. The entire population should be going f’ing ballistic and demanding the prosecution of the sociopaths that killed so many vulnerable people.

If you need to visit health care whether you live or die shouldn’t come down to your doctor’s feelings. But with infection control being a Crowleyesque “Do what thou wilt” shit show, who knows if your doctor had a bad morning? Surprise, got a parking ticket, time for you to die.

At least COVID has brought us all together. Left and right, MAGA and Democrats, Trade Unionists and capitalists, doctors and refuse collectors, together as one, united in their agreement to pretend a pandemic is over, that SARS2 is just a cold. It’s like a giant s’cide pact.

You are entitled to not wear a respirator in public spaces during a SARS pandemic. You are not entitled to remain in good health if you don’t wear one though, or entitled to be considered wise.

One day in the future there’ll be a newspaper headline “Shock report: Is everyone getting Long Covid?” and the answer will be: why yes, yes they are, and this isn’t news to anyone who’s been paying attention.
