MV Lord of the Isles commanded by Byron Griffiths gives way to sail on the last rotation of the day to Mallaig from Armadale before heading home to Lochboisdale. Same again tomorrow, winds permitting!

The CalMac Ferries vessel MV Lord of the Isles heads towards its home port of Lochboisdale tonight on her daily run to Mallaig. Despite cloudy skies the setting sub bathes light on Isle of South Uist Byron Griffiths David Gibson The ship is about 66kms from Tarskavaig, Skye.
