Oh, the age old attack on a woman for being childless. I got similar misogynistic crap from a male colleague in government who accused me of “failing to produce children of my own”. Nothing proves the myth of progress more clearly than the bile thrown at a woman in the public eye

So far, it is striking how communities are responding to far right violence by coming together to clear up. Perhaps they under estimate the connections, mutual solidarity and strength of local pride in the cities they have targeted?

I say goodbye this week to Jesuit Refugee Service UK after 9 yrs as director. So much to cherish from my time here! Friendships, inspiring people, brilliant staff & volunteer team! On Tuesday, a refugee who is a portrait artist who works in fabric gave me a goodbye gift she had created. I love it!
