Once again my colleagues approved my resolution recognizing this week as Work Zone Safety Week. In 2023 there were 413 work zone intrusions that tragically resulted in 3 deaths. We also remembered the life of Yorktown Highway Dept employee Jake Arcara who was killed in 2022.
