They’ve finished! Leeds half marathon conquered! Mathew Sophie Head Central Yorkshire Scouts #LeedsHalf same time next year?

This weekend was all about the beavers, running crafts at our county beaver badge bonanza. Even got our CC in on the act Central Yorkshire Scouts

Fantastic weekend on the water for group camp at AldwarkActivityCentr lots of new #SkillsForLife learned by our beavers, cubs and scouts. Happy faces, soggy young people after jumping in and tired at the end of camp. Great weekend!

Tonight one of our young leaders ran the North America in a Bag session as she is off to #WSJ2019 in a matter of days! We had so much fun, this photo was just before we made edible teepees and ended up with chocolate all over our faces (no photographic evidence thankfully)

Not long now til my first trip to Gilwell Reunion can’t wait to spend another weekend at HQ with scouting friends. Looking forward to seeing you there @AlexxiaPG

Had an amazing weekend at Gilwell Reunion shame it ended in the back of an ambulance with blues and twos all the way to the hospital... learned so much at all the workshops. Once I’m out of hospital I’ll be working on using this new knowledge in my scouting roles @TimothyKidd

So yesterday Mathew came to visit an event I was organising at Bramhope and this happened.... yes people, that’s not pizza, and if you look really closely, you can even see A VEGETABLE! He said he enjoyed it too! Thanks for coming to see us Mathew!
