We are thrilledthat two of our projects (CURE H2020 Project and CoCO2 Project) are featured in the EU Research Results Results Pack pub: 'The #Evolution of #Copernicus Services - Advancing #EarthObservation research to meet global environmental, emergency and security challenges'! 🎉 FORTH

Beyond #air and #land #surface #temperature monitoring, #RSLab is developing #intelligence to assist cities form heat mitigation strategies. After four years HARMONIA project is concluding, leaving the municipalities richer in knowledge in their combat against #climate #change!

RSlabGr and ERATOSTHENES Centre of Excellence conducted a joint #hyperspectral campaign in #Limassol in the framework of Urbisphere to study #urban materials using the HySpex VS-620 and spectroradiometers. Thanks to Dr. Kyriakos Themistokleous for his great support! FORTH European Research Council (ERC)

The #Issue “Exploring the Potential of Urban Remote Sensing”, co-edited by Nektarios Chrysoulakis and Giorgos Somarakis (RSlabGr), was published in the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society JSTARS, including #papers by JURSE 2023 (jurse2023.org). The Special Issue “Exploring the Potential of Urban Remote Sensing”, co-edited by Nektarios Chrysoulakis and Giorgos Somarakis, has just been published in the IEEE JSTARS jorunal bringing together cutting-edge work presented at the #JURSE2023 conference ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/10960…

Proud to see our work at RSlabGr featured by Copernicus EU EEA! Both CURE H2020 Project and CLMS Cities projects have been opportunities to work with leading experts and co-develop practical solutions for #urban #resilience and push for the #EUCitiesMission! linkedin.com/feed/update/ur…

We're thrilled to share that Urbisphere European Research Council (ERC) PI Prof. Sue Grimmond @BlueSky (Reading Meteorology) has been elected a Fellow of the The Royal Society! A well-deserved honour for her pioneering work in #urban #climate and #micrometeorology. royalsociety.org/news/2025/05/n…
