As he’s done most of the year for Churchill, Jace Litten led the Lancers in scoring tonight in their MWL debut win. The junior wing piled up 19 points and was sharp with his smooth looking perimeter jumper, knocking down five threes.

Continuing to become a dominant post preference for the Lancers is Ty Read. The junior big man was tough down low, posting up strong to register 16 points while also controlling the boards for Churchill, pulling down a team high 10 for the double double.

Breakout performance that many have been waiting for tonight from @read476646. The Churchill freshman forward posted double figure points with 14, showing off the versatile offensive skillset that have many considering him one of the top Class of 2028 prospects in the state.

Where Alonzo Reyes earned his flowers tonight was on the defensive end. The Churchill sophomore point guard locked in on D in the second half on Ashland star Jojo Harrower, helping limit him to only four points after the break as the Lancers went on to capture their MWL opener.
