#SJCNursery We were very excited today to find penguins in ice in the Tuff Tray.

#SJCNursery What a wonderful morning ! The nursery children went to Clearwell Farm in Michaelston Y Fedw. We met Alex the farmer who kindly donated a Christmas tree to school. The farm was amazing and we walked into the forest and found the perfect tree.

#SJCInfants R6 had a fabulous morning collecting the Christmas tree for the playground. We met Alex the farmer from Clearwell Farm in Michaelston Y Fedw who showed us lots and lots of beautiful trees.

#SJCNursery An afternoon of wreath making. The children collected leaves and heather in Outside Learning to make a wreath to take home.

#SJCNursery We have been finishing our Christmas presents for Mummy and Daddy. Height charts!

#SJCNursery We had a very special visitor today, Father Christmas!

#SJCNursery Nursery have had a very special afternoon in Forest Fun with Mr Evans. He showed us how to use a camping stove to heat milk for hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was delicious. We all had such an adventure!

#SJCNursery What a busy first week back to school enjoying our new topic, Fairy Tales. This week we have been listening to the story,The Three Bears. We made bear toast, cut Goldilocks’ hair and made a path to the bears cottage.

#SJCNursery This week in nursery we have been listening to the story of The Three Billy Goats Gruff. We made ugly troll faces using paper plates and found the Three Billy Goats in the Tuff Tray.

#SJCNursery We finished our week listening to the story, The Three Billy Goats Gruff with a buffet afternoon snack. The children tasted goats cheese with crusty bread and cut up peppers and cucumber to make troll bridges using hummus. Delicious!
