John Kelly looks like he will break the Wainwright Round record tomorrow night. I was with him this evening on the Northern Fells, he was still moving strongly but at times in a lot of pain. Not happy we did not have any salt and vinegar crisps. live.opentracking.co.uk/jkw2022/

Congratulations to John Kelly and his support team on a new Wainwright round record of just over 5 days 12 hours. Breaking the previous record by nearly 12 hours. His family ran in with him and a large crowd in Keswick cheered him in.

John Kelly's amazing new Wainwright Round of 5 days 12 hours consisted of roughly 112 hours of moving time and 20 hours of rest at the support points. Compared to the other top 5 he was moving at the speed of Paul and me with rests the same as Sabs and James.

Carol Morgan is 4 1/2 days through a Wainwright Round with less than 50 Wainwrights to go. I was with her for a section this afternoon. She was really happy and moving well, although fed up with the wind!! live.opentracking.co.uk/cmw2022

Congratulations to Carol Morgan on completing the Wainwrights in about 6 days 10 hours 40 minutes. This is the 5th fastest time and 2nd fastest by a women. It was a nice calm sunny day after 5 days of wind. Happy and smiling at the finish.
