That is huge ! Congrats ton rabelink for the well-deserved European Research Council (ERC) advanced grant ! More scientific breakthroughs to come 🚀

I see that Nature has retracted Catherine Verfaillie's notorious 2002 stem claim claims after investigations by Elisabeth Bik on ForBetterScience. This comes only 18 years after Peter Aldhous and I asked Verfaillie to explain her improper repurposing of data in Figure 1.

I am thrilled to announce that I have been awarded a Junior Professor Chair at Inserm ! Starting in March, I will be joining I2MC-Toulouse and Université de Toulouse to establish the emerging research team “EndoKARE: Endothelial niche dynamics in Kidney Aging, disease, and REpair”.

Fellowship opportunity in my group 🇫🇷: Motivated junior postdoc or final-year PhD (defense 01/01/2023–01/10/2025) ? Interested in vascular metabolism, kidney pathophysiology, aging & single-cell/spatial omics ? 👉 DM : [email protected] 🔗 i2mc.inserm.fr/en/s-dumas-2/

I am thrilled to share our review elaborating on the remaining challenges in the maturation of kidney organoids and their integration into the host for renal replacement therapy. Congrats to our leading author Cathelijne van den Berg and senior authors M. Little & ton rabelink !

We can all learn more about #aging thanks to this #OpenAccess #ArticleinPress, a collab effort from CCB_VIB_KUL and LUMC Leiden, Endothelial dysfunction in the aging kidney (M. Borri et al.): ow.ly/KfI250V6S3F #metabolism #kidneyDisease
