Kayleigh Barton has officially announced her retirement from football. What a servant she’s been for Wales. Always available, always dependant, and never ever gave up. To end her career at a major tournament is beyond fitting. Diolch am bopeth Kayleigh!

Great to see another young Welsh star sign a professional contract at one of England’s biggest clubs! I have zero doubts that we will see Mayzee make her WSL debut this season, and it will be a moment that’s thoroughly deserved!

Gabriele Biancheri is back in the Wales setup as he joins up with Wales U21s. Matty Jones held meetings with the Man United player after Canadian visit. Biancheri said Canada was good, but it wasn't Wales. Two Cymru Premier players in squad too! clwbpeldroed.org/2025/08/29/wal…

Rhyl have withdrawn from the Adran North and the Adran Trophy. Adran North will now be a seven team league, Llangefni Town will replace Rhyl in the Adran Trophy. Since the Adran restructure, there has never been a full second tier. Something somewhere has to change.

The FAW are not afraid to be different, and "radical changes" could be made to the Adran Premier next season. Summer league not off the table. Adran North and South also an important part of the Adran Premier review. My interview with Jack Sharp below. clwbpeldroed.org/2025/09/03/adr…

Having played for Celtic and Newcastle, defender Jodie Bartle is ready to take Wrexham to the next level. Jenny Sugarman is clearly an impressive coach, and Bartle says they are aiming for big things. Wrexham fans, you’ve got yourselves a good one here! clwbpeldroed.org/2025/09/04/wre…

First league start for Sunderland, first start as captain too. A 4-0 win away from home, and she’s one of the scorers! Just Razza doing Razza things. Sunderland have got a good one on their hands!

Wales U21 manager Matty Jones has confirmed that Swansea City's Joel Cotterill will be the new U21 captain. With 13 caps, Cotterill is one of the most experienced members of the squad, and Jones says the midfielder is very deserving of the armband.

A bonkers opening quarter here at Jenner Park! Chloe Chivers scores a 40-yard free-kick in two minutes, Barry hit the post, two yellows, and now Barry keeper Molly Arnesen gets sent off! Emily Blunt comes on to make her Barry debut in goal.

As professional a win as you can get from Swansea City on opening day. Four goals, clean sheet, job done. However, the red card certainly changed the game. One heck of a performance from Chloe Chivers too! Y Clwb Pêl-Droed clwbpeldroed.org/2025/09/07/bar…

We’ve talked before about the quality in this Wrexham squad, but to go two down in a difficult place to win like Old Road, and then win 5-2 is outstanding. A very good start to the season for Wrexham. Plenty of promise!

It’s still early days, but if you want an indicator of how wide open the Adran Premier will be this season, then this is it! Tremendous win for TNS, really had to dig deep but they earned it. If you’ve not watched the Adran Prem before, what a year this is to start!

Joel Colwill has remained with the Wales senior squad ahead of their friendly against Canada and won't be involved for the U21s tonight against Denmark. Cardiff City duo Dak Mafico and Troy Perrett, along with Real Union's Thierry Katsukunya, all called up for game in Newport.

Siôn Misra 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 (@sionmisra) 's Twitter Profile Photo

There's some serious talent in this Denmark U21 squad. Conrad Harder has just moved to RB Leipzig for £24 million, captain Oscar Hojlund is brother of Rasmus, William Clem plays UCL football, while Man United prodigy Chido Obi is on the bench. What a test for Wales tonight!

Wales 1-0 Denmark. 37 seconds in! Luey Giles passing into Tanatswa Nyakuhwa who smashes it past the keeper. So much excitement around these Cardiff City youngsters, and to see two of them connect so early against a top team is pretty impressive!

The dictionary definition of a tale of two halves. Wales were tremendous in the first half, but second half drop off was quite spectacular. A lot of personnel change in this squad, but still, that was quite something. Nyakuhwa and Parker bright sparks. clwbpeldroed.org/2025/09/08/wal…
