Cheslyn Hay This is north of Birmingham and was closed to passengers in 1965. The freight only line reopened to passengers in 1989 but a new station nearby, Landywood, opened rather than reopen this one. #TheSlowTrain

Dunstable Town The line connected East and West Coast mainlines passing through Luton and Dunstable. The station closed in 1965 but the line lingered on over many years for freight traffic. It "reopened" in 2013 as part of the guided busway to Luton. #TheSlowTrain
