Interesting finding! Infectious Diseases. TB drug SQ109 has potent activity against trypanosomatids grown in macrophages but not when grown in epithelial cells. Host-based killing proposed since SQ109 converts macrophages to M1 phenotype. pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac…
