1D have been developing their performing skills on drum kit and timpani over the past few weeks. They have worked together to support each other, showing great team work. Well done!

S1 are currently learning about Scottish music. They have had the opportunity to try out the bodhran and accordion this week.

It was a busy weekend for this S1 piper. He competed in the Glasgow Highland Club individual piping and pipe band competition. This was his first competition with the senior West Lothian Schools Pipe Band, and it's fantastic that the band placed 3rd! Well done!

S2 have been busy learning Shape of You. Learners are currently forming mini bands, with each musician playing their own individual part independently. Here is a snippet of 2A playing as a full class. More snap shots to follow!

February flew by in the blink of an eye! Here are the Music Department #SinclairSuperstars for the month. Both girls gave strong performances in the school heat of the Scottish Young Musician competition, showing our school value of Aspiration. Well done to you both!

A fantastic variety of talent lit up the stage this afternoon at our very own Sinclair's Got Talent show. From solo singers and bands to dancers and even a comedy magic act, the lineup was full of entertainment! Congratulations to our S1 dancer who took first place!
